Dr Roberto Leonardo Diaz
Short Bio
I am passionate about bioengineering. My interest in biomechanics started when I had to choose between a career in medicine or engineering. I was fascinated by both disciplines and decided that a combined approach would be best. During my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, I always found a way to bring medicine and mechanical engineering together.
My experience covers mechanical testing in the laboratory, kinematics, and finite element models. I have worked on projects in the clinical kinematics of human joints, including the shoulder, elbow, wrist, spine, hip, knee, and wrist.
I collaborated with research institutes in Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
