Dr Roberto Leonardo Diaz
Short Bio
I am passionate about bioengineering. My interest in biomechanics started when I had to choose between a career in Medicine or Engineering. I was fascinated by both disciplines and decided that a combined approach would be best. During my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, I always found a way to bring Medicine and Mechanical engineering together.
I am experienced in FE modelling, kinematical and mechanical analysis of almost all human joints: Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, Spine, Hip, Knee, and Wrist. I have worked extensively on tooling design for projects ranging from drug delivery to clinical kinematics.
I have work experience in Research Institutes in Mexico, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
